Through stories and creative activities, Buddy Reading nurtures a lifelong love of books. Children develop social and interpersonal skills, as well as confidence to use English in their daily lives.

Buddy Reading Helps Students
•Cultivate interests in reading as a hobby
•Improve English language ability and imagination
•Boost confidence to use English in daily lives
•Enhance social skills and interpersonal relationships and encourage positive attitude
Program Details
Number of kids per session: 15-20
Language medium: English
Duration: 1 hour per session
When: 6 sessions per term (Term 1: October – December, Term 2: January – May & Term 3: June – August)

•Meet and greet
•Arts and Crafts activities
•Ice breaking game
•Small group reading
•Group reading
•Wrap up
Number of volunteers involved per session: 10-15 volunteers trained by Kids4Kids
